Ms. Kathy started Bright Star Kid Care when her grandson was born 11 years ago. Research demonstrates a large part of a child’s learning takes place between the ages of birth to 5 years old; Ms. Kathy and her family wanted a childcare facility that had a strong emphasis on education and learning. Learning is lifelong. Research demonstrates children who begin education early in their lives actually have better success in school and life. Learning is fun; play is a child’s work. Ms. Kathy has been a nurse for over 40 years and has had lots of new and exciting challenges working with children and their families, other schools and the community over the years. Every day is met with a smile or a hug and the stories they tell. They truly are our future, and we are excited to be a part of their journey.
